prayerministry

All Nations Church is a praying church! As one of our core values, prayer is at the heart of all that we do as a church body.

And we should pray continually! As Scripture encourages us in Eph. 6:18, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests,” and again in 1 Thess. 5:16-18: “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

If you want to grow deeper in your relationship with God, commit yourself to prayer. We have many opportunities for you to participate in prayer and intercession.

Join us for our Wednesday night Prayer Meetings at 7 pm, or come early on Sundays (9:30 am) and put the prayer room to use by praying for the services. (And don’t forget to sign up for our monthly 36-hour Day of Prayer!). Or if you want to be part of our Prayer Link, get in touch with Amy Inkilä at (561) 540-8430 and be part of this exciting ministry.

Testimonies

GOD IS WITH HIS PEOPLE

In recent weeks we’ve felt the presence of the Lord in our services in new and powerful ways and God is moving in the daily lives of individuals. The Lord is with us in our prayer meetings giving His people visions and dreams; He has blessed us and healed many– not because we are special, but because we seek HIM WHO IS!
Chris is a familiar member of the ANC family – he is our M2M (men’s) ministry leader. The following is a brief testimony from Chris about how God is moving and working through him:

“About a week ago I had the privilege of praying for one my brothers in Christ who has been struggling with severe illness that had the doctors baffled- they couldn’t determine what was going on. As we prayed I saw in a vision how an evil spirit was attacking his body with many of deep black roots digging into his body. God, however, is greater and pulled out all the roots that were causing this sickness. Then Holy Spirit poured in and began to heal his body.

About the same time we prayed too that God would help us with some extra money for medical bills and other expenses. We needed several hundred dollars. God heard our prayers and saw our need. A check came in the mail. It was an overpaid amount from the balance of our old car loan, but still, it came exactly at the time we needed it the most.

A few days ago one of the church members called asking if we could pray for him as his heart had been bothering him. He felt so poorly he thought he his heart was giving out and his time on earth was coming to an end. As we prayed the presence of the Holy Spirit was in the room and again I saw how the Spirit disintegrated something like a black hand gripping his heart. As his heart started to relax and function normally a white ball of light appeared covering and protecting his heart. This is what the blood of Jesus does when we declare its power!

Soon after this, a young woman with scoliosis and back pains came up during one of our prayer meetings asking me to pray for her. At that point I did not know what scoliosis was exactly. As we started to pray, I saw in the Spirit how her spine was slightly crooked and there was a red wedge shoved in between the vertebrates or discs. The hand of God pulled this wedge out and the Holy Spirit begun healing her body.

As far as I know God’s healing touch in the lives of these individuals is still in effect. This power is available to ALL of us! Six months ago my story would have been different. In a nutshell, it all comes down to time spent with God, in His presence. The power of the Holy Spirit can flow through you and touch the people around in a mighty way if you want, if you allow Him to. However if you never give of your time to the Lord, how do you expect to see things happening? This is why I want to encourage all of you to spend more time with God: read the Bible every day, pray every day, go to church, serve others – put your faith into action. Live for Jesus and expect things to happen!”

This bible verse came to me as I was writing this:

Matt :16-18 NIV
“By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?  Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.”
